The underground parking garage. I have a large vehicle and should not have been directed down there. the outdoor lot would have been more appropriate.
No smoking, no lounge
First the hotel room had 2 silver fish (bugs) in the room. I did not feel safe and we refused housekeeping because we didn't trust the people. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. The security staff was not dressed appropriately to show that they were security and my husband caught them sleeping in the guard shack. It was the worst stay ever. We were there on our honeymoon and we left a day early.
The room was excellent, bed and chairs were very comfortable, there was free WiFi and a coffee and tea maker, the buffet breakfast had plenty of fruit available as well as the usual items.
A fridge in the room would have been nice, and some non-sweetened cold cereals would have improved the breakfast choices.
great location - breakfast good, but should go until 10 a.m. - young guy in parking lot was fabulous; can't remember his name
- we would recommend your hotel
Location, near resturant
As I was coming for a concert, I liked that it was very close to the venue.
The $50 deposit we had to pay when we checked in I found to be ridiculous. It was completely unexpected and we weren't told prior about anything of the sort, so we ended up not having any money for food or even anything to drink. Thankfully there was tea in the bathroom to fix, but it was less than good.. Try stocking the place with Twinning's tea. It's so much better.
Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, good shower. Hotel staff were nice & helpful, especially the guy who helped me haul all my bags from the car to my room.
Wifi access was not so easy, it wasn't a huge issue, as I was pretty tired, & mostly used the room to sleep & shower. If I had been less tired, I might have tried harder to make the wifi work.
Good Location and comfortable bedding
Everything was fine
Highly recommended for any events at the Wolstein Center because it is within walking distance The bacon was crispy
Our television was stuck on closed captioning, and someone was supposed to come fix it but never showed
Front desk staff not at all welcoming or friendly, sounded very annoyed while checking in guests. Gave a poor first impression of the city! Being pleasant when you're in hospitality shouldn't be this difficult.
The room was not nothing like I expected I was supposed to have a suite. My room looked like a standard room. It was unpleasing.
It's a comfort in so expect a comfort inn. We went for an NBA finals game and was only room in area left... It's what you'd expect. Clean/fine but nothing special and dated in areas. Check in no problem. Issue we did have was they were renovating. You don't find out this news till check in where they make you sign something acknowledging they told you. I fully expected to hear noise. Hammers, men working, etc... What we actually got is what I imagine it would sound like if you stuck your head into a metal trash can and lit off M80 fire crackers. It was so loud we couldn't stop laughing (or hear each other). Laughing, I called the front desk and said "do you think your last second warning possibly doesn't due justice to reality here..". I wasn't asking for anything more just making sure they knew how crazy it was. A very miserable lady, was super defensive and said "you signed at check in". I told her, I know. But they maybe they could be a little more honest or alert people when reserved as there is no other choice once we arrived other than to sleep in our car. Anyway, for us it was funny. It was crazy to be woken up that way; but in the end we laughed if off. If the front desk was cool or laughed it off too would have went a long way. But they seem like they have been getting beat down on this issue for awhile. Location was perfect for a sporting event. Parking easy. Hotel needs to speed up renovations or not book rooms directly below where they are using a tile drill... Before the work, you can also hear other rooms(our lovely neighbor was dealing w some real relationship drama back home) so the bad sound proofing exasperated it all. Just a heads up if you book. I would ask about renovations. Or have a good sense of humor.
Smiles go a long way
Free breakfast and walking distance from down town
Dirty hotel, rude employees, expensive
room was nice
room needed vacuum, construction noise was loud and started at 730 am.
